Ice Massage

Ice massage is used mainly as a modality for the reduction of pain and swelling in injuries. However can be used as part of a training program, it can aid recovery from a heavy training session, reduce the dreaded DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) that can occur after a training session, reduce swelling and inflammation, and aid muscle injury recovery. It is best applied in the 4 hours after a training session for the best results.
