Injury Prevention

It’s a well-known saying that prevention is better than a cure, and here at Bailey Sports Therapy we are firm believers in this. We hate seeing people in pain and want to give you the knowledge and tools to prevent injuries. We can provide programs and sessions of exercises along with the reasons behind why these exercises are relevant to you and the preventing of injuries.

 

An injury prevention program must be specific to you and/or your sport or general daily activities and goals. An injury prevention program focuses on a balance of components of fitness, it assesses your imbalances and gives appropriate exercises to correct the imbalances.

 

A program of this sort can be made and specifically tailored to either one individual or to a team of athletes of any sport. For example if you are part of a sports team and notice that your team has a regular occurrence of injury, you can book BST for group/team sessions. Or if you personally have noticed an increase in pains or injuries you can come in for an assessment and tailored program.
